Diasporan Armenian Experts Start Working in the Armenian Government

On September 1, the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs launched the “iGorts” program for Armenian experts from the Diaspora. 24 experts, part of the first round of participants hailing from countries such as Canada, Denmark, Russia, Lebanon, France, Norway, Israel, the Netherlands, and China, have arrived in Armenia. The COVID-19 pandemic did not prevent these experts from reaching the homeland and joining the Armenian government.

Since early morning, the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, and High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan, have been in direct and constant contact with the Lebanese Armenian community, including representatives from religious, healthcare, educational and charitable organizations, the media, as well as the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Atabekyan, in order to conduct a preliminary assessment of needs following the explosion that took place in Beirut on August 4.

The "Step To Home" online program has launched for hundreds of Diaspora Armenian youth

Armenian Artists from Around the World Unite on a Mission to Save Lives
