Monaco
According to some sources, the first Armenian family came to Monaco from France in the late 19th century to establish a textile factory. There is currently a small Armenian community in Monaco with about 100 people, but not all of them hold citizenship. In recent years, a structure representing Armenians was established called the Union of Armenians of Monaco, which is active in organizing various cultural events.
There are no Armenian schools, churches, or media outlets in Monaco. There are a relatively large number of Armenian intellectuals and businessmen in Monaco.
Arman Ecker, an Armenian professor, and cardiologist is working in the country. The "Heart of Monaco for Armenian Children" charity organization was founded in 2006. The honorary president is Prince Albert II of Monaco, and the honorary sponsor is French-Armenian singer Hélène Ségara.
