The Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs was established on June 11, 2019, by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia. The Office is responsible for developing and implementing the strategies and policies for all Armenia-Diaspora relations, supporting and encouraging repatriation, ensuring an active integration process, mapping the Diaspora's potential, and implementing programs to integrate the Diaspora into every aspect of Armenian life. Zareh Sinanyan is the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, he repatriated to Armenia with his family. The office is made up of a diverse team of individuals some of whom represent Diaspora communities from around the world, including Georgia, Russia, the United States, Lebanon, Germany, Israel and Argentina.
