Diaspora Armenian professionals continue to support the Homeland in various ways. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, war and post-war period, they were the white knights on the front lines. One of those Diaspora Armenian specialists, Nicholas Tavoukjian, who is the founder of the Armenian American Sports Medicine Coalition (AASMC), was back in the Homeland recently this time to support and train the Armenian National Team at the Paralympic Games. Nicholas left for Tokyo with the athletes.
