Breakout Session #1: Armenia as a lifeline: Supporting diaspora communities in distress

“Armenia as a lifeline: Supporting diaspora communities in distress” is the first Breakout Session of the day presented by Raffi Doudaklian, the Head of "World Vision Armenia" International Relief and Development Organization. The latter did a short presentation on what it means to be in a Diaspora community that is in distress. Throughout this session, Dr. Nora Arissian, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Republic of Armenia, Eliza Minasyan, the Executive Director of the Jinishian Memorial Program USA, and Lusine Ohanyan, the Department Head of Strategic Initiatives at Armenian Missionary Association of America in Armenia shared their experiences with diaspora communities that are in distress and gave different ideas on how to support the communities and have positive impacts.
