Denmark
Armenians have settled in Denmark since the 1970s primarily migrating from Armenia, Iran, and Iraq, settling in the cities of Copenhagen and Aarhus. Currently, about 3,000 Armenians live in the country.
Armenians are heavily involved in careers within healthcare, information technology, culture, and various service sectors, with a large number of intellectuals.
In 1983, the Armenian Cultural Association was established by the efforts of Iranian-Armenians and Lebanese-Armenians, the activities of which later ceased.
Since 2005, the Armenian community in Denmark has become active due to the Danish-Armenian association called DanArmen and the Nectar Cultural Association, as well as the Ararat Union. Several Armenian Sunday schools operate in the country.
In Denmark, the community does not have a minority status.
There is no Armenian church in the country, and the patriarchal delegation of Central Europe takes care of the community's spiritual needs.
