Roupen Nahabedian
Roupen was born in Baghdad, Iraq, in 1962. His family moved to Los Angeles, California, in 1979. He pursued electrical engineering at the University of Southern California, and started his career in Silicon Valley in 1986. In the subsequent decades, he held various leadership positions in engineering, business development, and product management. Roupen is an entrepreneur and has co-founded multiple tech startups, including an early mobile software company in Armenia in 2002. Roupen visited Armenia for the first time in 1991.
Married to his high school sweetheart, Siran Tutelian, they are parents to three adult sons: Aram, Sevan, and Daron. When asked why he chose to do iGorts, he responded "If not now, when? If not me, who?"
His workplace within the framework of the "iGorts" program is at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.
