Tatevik Avetisyan was born in Armenia and raised in Russia. She is a specialist in international relations and law. Tatevik holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and a master’s degree in Law with a specialization in Business Legal Support (business law) from the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University).

She taught at the same university and participated in the academic and public life of Moscow. Additionally, Tatevik volunteered with the press service of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Moscow.
