My name is Hasmik Karapetyan. I am from Moscow, Russia.

I studied Armenian national dances for six years and performed with the Golden Pomegranate ensemble at various concerts and cultural events.

In 2021, I entered the Law College at the Russian University of Transport (MIIT). I served as the coordinator of the college's student council and gained experience organizing events and working with students. During this period, I also actively participated in Armenian community events at the University.

In September 2023 I continued my studies at the Law Institute of the Russian University of Transport, specializing in Criminal Law. That same year, I was elected chairperson of the university's Armenian community. In this role, I was responsible for organizing cultural, educational, and commemorative events. In 2024, I decided to discontinue my studies at the university, but I continued to lead the Armenian community to ensure the continuity of existing programs and the transfer of experience to the next generation. At the same time, I collaborated with various Armenian youth organizations, including the Armenian Student Association, participating in community and youth initiatives.

In May 2026, I handed over leadership of the Armenian community to the next generation of activists. I subsequently became the head of the Armenian Student Association.

As a Diaspora Youth Ambassador and head of the Armenian Student Association, I will strive to strengthen ties between youth in Armenia and the Diaspora, preserve and develop Armenian national identity, and implement new educational, cultural, and social initiatives.
