Raffi Khudaverdyan
My name is Raffi Khudaverdyan. I was born in Armenia and have lived in Belgium with my family since the age of ten.
I hold a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry and currently work as an R&D Chemist in Belgium, where I develop sustainable, bio-based materials for applications in inks, coatings, and paints. My professional experience has strengthened my research and problem-solving skills, while showing me the importance of knowledge exchange and collaboration for sustainable development.
I am actively involved in the Armenian community in Belgium, particularly the community of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Antwerp. In collaboration with community members and leaders, I strive to better understand the needs and priorities of Armenians in Flanders.
As a Diaspora Youth Ambassador, I want to strengthen ties between Armenia and the Armenian community in Belgium, especially in Flanders. I intend to encourage youth engagement, support cultural and educational initiatives, and foster sustainable professional and personal cooperation between Armenia and the Diaspora, to contribute to a stronger and more connected Armenian community.
