The gathering will bring together Diaspora professionals and organizations working to strengthen and improve the lives of women and girls in Armenia. The meeting will take place in New York on March 6, 2020, Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., followed by a dinner where we will be able to continue discussions in a more relaxed atmosphere. As a venue, the AGBU has kindly offered its offices at 55 E 59th St, New York, NY 10022 in New York.

Taking into account the diversity of initiatives implemented by the Diaspora to improve the lifestyle of women and girls in Armenia, we have outlined 3 goals for this meeting.

1. Learn more about each initiative, aimed at promoting cooperation and activating partnerships;
2. Development of more effective mechanisms for the application of both financial and human resources, avoiding the repetition of efforts;
3. Compliance of the Diaspora's work aimed at the development of Armenia with the provisions of the development strategy developed by the Government of Armenia.

Then, on Saturday, March 7, AGBU will hold its first conference entitled "Women Create the World", which aims to provide a platform for communication, exchange of ideas and inspiration for women who have made radical changes globally through civic or charitable work.
