High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan met with Chairman of the organization «Fondation Alliance Arménienne de Genève», Swiss-Armenian businessman and philanthropist Vahe Gabrash and members of the organization's board of trustees.

Expressing gratitude for the continuous cooperation, Zareh Sinanyan noted that the organization has an active presence in Armenia and especially in the regional development initiatives with its programs and directions of work. The High Commissioner also presented the office's programs on repatriation, mapping and attracting the potential of Diaspora, youth initiatives and issuing Diaspora bonds. «Our programs are aimed at developing Armenia-Diaspora business relations, expanding the involvement and inclusiveness of Diaspora in Armenia and developing an equal and state-oriented strategy,» said Zareh Sinanyan.

The representatives of the organization presented their activities for the protection of the Armenian interests, activation of the Swiss Armenian community, development of the regions of Armenia, healthcare and winemaking.

«From year to year we are expanding our programs, focusing on mid-term and long-term projects,» said Vahe Gabrash.
