Authorized representative of the government for Diaspora and Poles Abroad, Secretary of State Jan Dziedziczak is on a visit to Armenia. In Yerevan, he will take part in the ceremonial opening and consecration of the khachkar dedicated to Pope John Paul II and century-old Armenian-Polish friendship.

During the first day of the visit, accompanied by Head of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Mushegh Ghukasyan, Jan Dziedziczak visited Tsitsernakaberd, honored the memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide and laid a wreath at the memorial.

Tomorrow, the Secretary of State of Poland will have a meeting with High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan to discuss the possibilities of cooperation between Diasporas of the two countries.
