At the invitation of local youth, the specialists of the «iGorts» program of Diaspora Armenian specialists in the RA state administration system visited Yelpin village of Vayots Dzor region.

Members of «iGorts» of our office Arshaluys Avagyan, Oksana Harutyunyan and Lusine Ustyan got acquainted with the youth of Yelpin within the framework of the interregional event «To Jermuk». After the gathering, the young people decided to create a youth center and give the opportunity to other communities of Vayots Dzor to use the resources of the center. They renovated the area provided by the village administration and started the work.

The participants of our program to support the activity of the center donated books and a projector.

During the meeting, the programs of the office were also presented, the role of Diaspora and further cooperation were discussed.
