The "Step Toward Home'' 2023 educational program for Diaspora-Armenian youth has come to an end. This year, the program took place from June 5 to August 26, in 6 phases, hosting 600 young people aged 13-18 from 25 countries. The goal of the project is the preservation and development of Armenian identity among Diaspora youth.

The 89 participants of this phase were from Russia, Georgia, Germany, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. They, like the participants of the previous phases, spent the two-week camp at YSU's Byurakan Center. During the program, Diasporan Armenian youth discovered what Armenia has to offer and took part in courses in Armenian language, Armenian studies, history, music, and dance.

The costs of the in-country part of the project are fully covered by the RA government.
