45 ARMENIAN SPECIALISTS FROM THE DIASPORA CONCLUDED THEIR EXPERIENCE AT THE RA STATE, UNDER THE “IGORTS” PROGRAM

The certification and closing ceremony of the 2022-2023 “iGorts” program for Diaspora Armenian specialists working in the government system of Armenia took place.
The RA High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Zareh Sinanyan, Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan, Head of Armenia’s Tourism Committee, Sisian Boghossian, who was an iGorts 2021 participant, and other officials were present at the ceremony.
“The program aims to promote professional repatriation and open the RA government system’s doors to Diaspora Armenian specialists, new and fresh forces. I am happy we had 300 applicants for last year’s program, from which we selected the top 50. They worked for one year across 23 departments and developed programs in various fields, including education, digital reform, financial education, primary care, investment policy, and other areas. Data from previous years shows that around 70% of participants remain in Armenia and repatriate. I am aware that most of you will also remain in the homeland”, said Zareh Sinanyan.
The program graduates spoke about their experiences and impressions of the yearlong program.
Afterward, the graduates received certificates in recognition of their successful participation in the program.
