Armenian Lawyers Assembly

From October 27-29, the first Armenian Lawyers Assembly will be held in Yerevan. The Assembly will prioritize discussions on key legal issues related to Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh, and the Diaspora while also exploring opportunities for the participation of lawyers from around the world and establishing a foundation for future collaboration.
More than 200 attorneys from 31 countries will take part in panel discussions and workshops throughout the Assembly.
Lawyers with various specializations from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Argentina, Russia, and more will serve as speakers and moderators throughout the five panel discussions and three workshop sessions. Republic of Armenia government officials, deputies of the National Assembly, representatives of the judiciary and legal institutions will also participate in the sessions.
The main topics of the Assembly are the following: “The role of the Diaspora legal community in assisting the legislative reforms of Armenia,” “The Nagorno-Karabakh issue and post-war legal processes,” “Ensuring the security of Armenians,” “Legal issues for supporting and defending the Armenian national interests globally,” and “Perspectives for creating a pan-Armenian network of Armenian lawyers.”
