The High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Zareh Sinanyan, along with 18 of the participants from the Diaspora Youth Ambassador program, visited the office of the "Armenian Food Bank" charitable fund. Currently, the fund is collecting resources to aid in the support of forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh.

The founder of "Armenian Food Bank," Michael Avetikyan, repatriated from Canada to Armenia many years ago. He discussed with Zareh Sinanyan and the Diaspora Youth Ambassadors, about the projects that are currently in progress.

Zareh Sinanyan highlighted the importance of the contribution from Diaspora organizations, of individuals, and of repatriates, who work towards initiatives that support forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh. The High Commissioner also expressed gratitude to all the Diaspora organizations and repatriates who united their efforts towards achieving a common goal.

"Armenian Food Bank" is the first of its kind in Armenia with the aim of helping people and families in need by collecting food, clothing, and various supplies.
