The High Commissioner participated in the discussion of the Council of French Armenians

High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan participated in a meeting on October 7th, organized by the Council of French Armenians. Other panelists included Ardavan Amir-Aslani (attorney and geostrategy specialist on the Middle East), Alexandre Del Valle (geopolitologist, Center for Foreign and Political Affairs, professor at IPAG), Nathalie de Oliviera (President of Portugal-Armenia Friendship Group). Moderator: Alain Navarra Navassartian (PhD in Art History and Sociology, president of HYESTART).
During the discussion, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan emphasized the significant role of the Armenian Diaspora in promoting Armenian interests, influencing international opinion, and developing the homeland. In their speech, the speakers analyzed the security challenges that Armenia has faced in recent years. They also discussed the violation of the fundamental rights of forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as the assessments made by the international community.
The discussion was attended by Daniel Kurkdjian, the President of the Council of French Armenians and the Honorary President of Grant Thornton Armenia, as well as Levon Sakunts, the Deputy Mayor of Vienne. Additionally, representatives from the French Armenian community and others were also present.
