While on his working visit to France, the High Commissioner took part in a joint meeting involving the Armenian Community of Nice and local government officials from the Côte d’Azur region, held at the Barsamian Complex in Nice.

The meeting commenced with Mr. Anthony Borre, 1st Deputy Mayor of Nice, acknowledging the strength of the Armenian community in France and sharing his recent visit to Armenia, where he led a delegation.

Mr. Sinanyan stressed the importance of the community's ongoing activism and engagement, both within their local communities and in Armenia. The Chief Commissioner discussed in detail the relations between Armenia and the Diaspora, challenges in homeland security, and the current situation.

Following that, the meeting proceeded in a question and answer format.

At the end of the meeting, the representatives of the Armenian community presented a certificate of gratitude to Monaco’s Children & Future Foundation for their collaboration with the MyStep Foundation.
