A total of 149 Armenian citizens and their family members returned from Israel to Armenia on a special flight from Tel Aviv to Yerevan, organized by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

The Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs maintained regular communication with the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to Israel, community organizations, and individuals. It also forwarded the applications it received from compatriots to the Armenian Government, with the aim of providing support to those who expressed willingness to return to Armenia.

The process of the return was conducted based on the submitted applications, following the order in which they were received, as well as taking into consideration the presence of children and the principle of keeping families together.

The representatives from our Office greeted citizens of the Republic of Armenia and their family members who arrived from Israel at Zvartnots International Airport. They provided information pamphlets for future communication and assessment of their needs.
