High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan fielded questions from participants during the round table discussion on "Lessons and Recommendations for Diaspora Engagement" at the "Prospects for the Kurdish Diaspora" International workshop held at Middlesex University in London.

Inquiries revolved around establishing bilateral expectations, fostering mutual trust and sincerity in Homeland-Diaspora relations, mechanisms for Diaspora involvement, the Armenian Diaspora's role in recognizing the Armenian Genocide, the functions of lobby groups, and the investments made by Diaspora Armenians in Armenia.

The High Commissioner stressed the imperative nature of dialogue with the Diaspora, emphasizing the significance of listening to their perspectives and fostering bilateral cooperation. "Engaging the Diaspora across various sectors within the Homeland, including its governance structures, is crucial. Additionally, it's vital that the Diaspora's efforts maintain a continuum between the past, present, and future, with every action aimed at shaping a reformed future," said Zareh Sinanyan.
