Chief of Staff of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Mushegh Ghukasyan, met with Director of the Jinishian Memorial Program, Eliza Minasyan, Executive Director of the Jinishian Memorial Foundation, Armen Hakobyan, and the Foundation's Health Program Coordinator, Zara Janibekyan. The purpose of the meeting was to summarize the work carried out during the three-year collaboration within the framework of the “Diaspora Youth Ambassador” program.

First, the objectives of the program, the work done by the Office and the participants, and their results, success stories and difficulties were presented, along with a discussion on opportunities aimed at improving the program.

Chief of Staff, Mushegh Ghukasyan, with great appreciation for the collaboration with the Jinishian Memorial Foundation, emphasized the importance of the program in terms of involving youth in processes aimed at strengthening Armenia-Diaspora ties, stable community-Office communication, and joint work. An agreement was reached to continue collaboration also within the framework of the “Diaspora Youth Ambassador” program for 2024.

In 2021, the Jinishian Memorial Foundation fully funded the annual “Diaspora Youth Ambassador” program. In 2022, the program began to be funded by the government with support from the Foundation.
