High Commissioner Sinanyan convened with the leadership of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party and representatives from their affiliated organizations operating within Australian communities. During the meeting, High Commissioner Sinanyan introduced members to the Office’s initiatives and programs, and encouraged further engagement with Armenia.

Chairman of the Hunchakian Party in Australia, Mr. Sebouh Kalpakian, outlined their primary objectives and their vision for future initiatives within the Sydney Armenian community.

Within the Party’s network are affiliated organizations that service various needs of the Sydney community in order to preserve and promote Armenian culture. These organizations include, the Armenian Community Association of Australia, the Armenian Council of Australia, and the Nor Serount Cultural Association, which includes the Nor Serount monthly publication, the Voice of Nor Serount Armenian Radio, and the Nor Serount dance group.
