Meeting with Aginian School Leadership

In Melbourne, High Commissioner Sinanyan visited the Aginian Armenian School, where he met with the school’s principals, Miss Hasmig Yaylaian and Mrs. Karine Deryan.
High Commissioner Sinanyan emphasized the vital importance of Armenian educational institutions in the Diaspora for preserving our language, culture, and history across generations. The principals shared their successes, needs, and future aspirations for the school.
Aginian Armenian School was established in 1968 under St. Mary’s Armenian Apostolic Church with the aim of educating the new generation of Armenians. Classes are available for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 and include Western and Eastern Armenian, Armenian folk dancing, singing, and art.
