During his working visit to France, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan held a meeting with Sonia Zdorovtzoff, the deputy mayor of Lyon, in which Narine Nikolyan, the RA Consul General in Lyon, was also present. Both parties highlighted the significance of Armenian-French decentralized cooperation, noting it as a crucial pillar connecting Armenia and France.

Zareh Sinanyan underscored the significance of mutual visits between the mayors of Yerevan and Lyon, highlighting Lyon's special importance among Yerevan's partner cities.

Zareh Sinanyan emphasized, "The friendly and partnership relations that have been formed between the two cities are the basis for new mutually beneficial projects in the future."

During the meeting, the Armenian community of Lyon was acknowledged.
