While in France, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan paid a visit to the Metropolis of Lyon where he held discussions with Vice President Hélène Duvivier-Dromin. Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, the High Commissioner emphasized the pivotal role of the Metropolis of Lyon in fostering the bonds of friendship and cooperation between France and Armenia. He highlighted the significance of bilateral consultations in shaping long-term collaborative priorities, exchanging insights, and extending mutual support across various domains.

Furthermore, he conveyed his appreciation to the Metropolis of Lyon for its steadfast support during the 44-day conflict, particularly for aiding the Yerevan hospitals that treated the war casualties and for extending assistance to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.

In response, the Vice President of the Metropolis of Lyon conveyed her gratitude to Zareh Sinanyan for his visit and lauded the ongoing collaboration with Armenia, affirming the commitment to continue the joint efforts.
