High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan participated in events honoring Missak Manouchian in Marseille. At the Hall of the Armenian Youth Union, he attended an exhibition dedicated to Manouchian, where he unveiled a canvas commemorating the French National Hero. Subsequently, Sinanyan joined a concert paying tribute to the memory of the Hero and his resistance group.

During his visit, Sinanyan also visited the Armenian Cathedral of Holy Translators in Marseille. He attended both Sunday mass and a funeral mass held in memory of Missak Manouchian. As a mark of solemn respect, alongside Ara Mkrtchyan, the RA Consul General in Marseille, Zareh Sinanyan laid a wreath at the monument honoring Armenians who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of France, situated in the church courtyard.
