In 2024, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia sustains its initiative to provide training programs for teachers in Armenian educational institutions across the Diaspora. These include both state and private colleges, schools, kindergartens, additional educational facilities, one-day educational centers, cultural hubs, and more.

The training in Armenia will be facilitated through seven distinct one-month programs, all sanctioned by the MoESCS of the Republic of Armenia.

1. Kindergarten Education;
2. Sunday School Education;
3. Elementary School Education;
4. Armenian Language and Literature Teaching;
5. Armenian History and Cultural Heritage;
6. Art of Dancing;
7.  Training of Principles.

Attached is a description of the programs.

Upon completion of the courses, participating teachers will receive certificates issued by the MoESCS of Armenia.

Throughout the program duration, expenses related to course organization, teachers' accommodation, museum visits, and tours, spanning from the program's commencement to its conclusion, will be covered by the Republic of Armenia. However, participants are responsible for covering their own travel expenses, including transportation from the airport to the hotel, obtaining an Armenian entry permit (visa), and any required medical travel insurance costs.

The training officially begins on July 1, which marks the participants' check-in at the hotel.

The program follows this schedule:

• July 1: Arrival and check-in at the hotel
• July 2: Official opening of the program
• July 28: Official closing of the program and certificate presentation
• July 29: Departure from the hotel

If the participants arrive earlier then July 1st or depart after July 29, they are responsible for their own accommodation expenses. Hotel rooms are intended for 2-3 occupants.

To enrol in the program, teachers must submit a completed application form, endorsed by the management of their educational institution, to the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports by May 15. The application form is available at: https://shorturl.at/eors6   

Teachers will receive official participation confirmations via email after their applications have been received, up until May 31st. If an official invitation is required to justify their absence from their home country and workplace, please notify us in advance.

Further details regarding training organization, hotel accommodation, and other necessary information for the courses will be communicated to participating teachers.

The program also includes meetings, educational tours, and a cultural agenda for the participants.
