High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan met with Daniel Kurkdjian, the President of the Council of French-Armenians, and Honorary President of Grant Thornton Armenia, who traveled to Armenia to partake in commemorative events marking the 109th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

During their discussion, the High Commissioner reiterated the imperative of sustained efforts for the international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide, stressing the crucial involvement of the Armenian Diaspora.

Zareh Sinanyan commended the diverse initiatives undertaken by the French-Armenian Council, underlining its significant role in fostering Armenian-French relations.

The meeting also delved into enhancing collaboration between the Office and the Council of French Armenians, particularly in light of the upcoming Global Armenian Summit scheduled for September in Yerevan, with a focus on the involvement of French Armenians.
