High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan met with Strasbourg Mayor Jeanne Barseghian during his visit to France.

The meeting was also attended by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the Council of Europe, Arman Khachatryan.

The High Commissioner stressed the important role of the Armenian community in strengthening and developing friendship between the two states and peoples, while also noting that the Office is ready to promote collaboration with Strasbourg whenever possible.

Zareh Sinanyan also met with Josiane Chevalier, Prefect of the Grand Est region. During the meeting, the High Commissioner presented the work carried out with the Armenian Diaspora.
