The "Repatriation Week" series of events continued with an amateur chess tournament organized for children of repatriated families. 18 young participants from Syria, Iraq, Ukraine, Russia, and Great Britain took part in the tournament.

After five rounds, Isa Khokasian, a 6th grader from Darbnik village in the Ararat region and an Iraqi-Armenian, was declared the winner. At the end of the tournament, the schoolchildren were awarded certificates and souvenirs.

The Yerevan Chess Federation supported the organizational work.

"Repatriation Week" is being held from May 27 to 31, initiated by the Repatriation and Integration Center of the RA Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs.
