Repatriation Week in Review

The Repatriation and Integration Center has summarized the series of events titled "Repatriation Week".
On the final day, May 31, the Center welcomed a delegation from Georgia, including representatives from the Georgian office of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the Division for Relations with Compatriots and Diaspora Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, and the Integration and Reintegration Service of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons.
During the meeting, the activities of the Repatriation and Integration Center were presented, and discussions on cooperation ensued.
Throughout the week, repatriated children visited the History Museum of Armenia and the National Gallery. Additionally, the Center's staff attended the opening of a museum dedicated to repatriated artist and sculptor Sahak Sahakyan.
The conclusion of "Repatriation Week" featured an evening of networking at the Yerevan Champagne Wines Factory.
Repatriates from the USA, Russia, Syria, Lebanon, Brazil, Australia, Georgia, and other countries participated in a tour of the factory, learning about the history of Armenian champagne creation and production.
During the "Repatriation Week", initiated by the Repatriation and Integration Center of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, various events took place, including round-table discussions, a book presentation on the theme of great repatriation, master classes, online and offline orientation meetings, consultations, and a chess tournament for school-aged children. More than 250 repatriates from Argentina, USA, Canada, France, Russia, Lebanon, Syria, Israel, Ukraine, and several other countries participated in these events.
