High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan met with representatives of the Paros Foundation, led by Executive Director Peter Abajian. The foundation, operating in the USA since 1999, focuses on implementing humanitarian, educational, and cultural development programs in Armenia, as well as strengthening Armenia-Diaspora ties.

Welcoming the guests, Zareh Sinanyan highlighted the Paros Foundation's patriotic efforts and expressed a strong desire for cooperation.

Peter Abajian then outlined the foundation's Armenian programs and this year's objectives, including the "SERVICE Armenia" program. This initiative, running from June 23 to July 14, aims to acquaint Diaspora Armenian youth aged 17-23 with Armenia's educational environment. He also highlighted the foundation's health initiative, which focuses on developing preventive care in Armenia and providing training to medical personnel.

The foundation representatives also discussed the psychological, housing, educational, and humanitarian assistance provided to forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh.

At the meeting's conclusion, the discussions included the work of Diaspora charitable organizations in Armenia, their cooperation with the government, and the broader Armenia-Diaspora relations.
