High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan recieved Nilakshi Saha Sinha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to the Republic of Armenia.

In his remarks, the High Commissioner emphasized the historical significance of the Armenian community in India and discussed ongoing collaboration with the community.

During their meeting, Zareh Sinanyan detailed the key initiatives and programs led by the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs. He also highlighted the upcoming Global Armenian Summit, set to take place in Yerevan from September 17-20, and noted that this year’s summit will feature participation from officials responsible for Diaspora affairs in partner countries.

Ambassador Nilakshi Saha Sinha shared insights into India’s approach to engaging with its Diaspora and citizens abroad.

The meeting concluded with a discussion of other topics of mutual interest, underscoring the importance of enhancing multilateral cooperation between the two countries' Diaspora authorities.
