Zareh Sinanyan, the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of Armenia, met with representatives of the Council of Armenian Institutions of Argentina (Instituciones Armenias de la República Argentina/IARA) during his working visit to Buenos Aires. The meeting, held at the Armenian Embassy to Argentina, included representatives from numerous Armenian organizations across the country.

Sinanyan shared an overview of the Office’s activities, highlighting its main programs and initiatives for engaging the Armenian Diaspora, supporting cultural preservation, and promoting repatriation.

Discussions centered on enhancing relations with Argentina's Armenian community and expanding its involvement in diaspora office programs.

During his visit, Sinanyan and AGBU President Sam Simonian visited the AGBU Marie Manoogian Institute to mark the school’s 50th anniversary, where they discussed its achievements and current challenges with the administration.

Additionally, Zareh Sinanyan attended a tree-planting ceremony commemorating the 30th anniversary of Armenian-Argentine diplomatic relations.
