The working visit of  Zareh Sinanyan, RA High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, to California is ongoing.

In Burbank, the High Commissioner met with His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America, to discuss matters concerning the preservation of Armenian identity.

During a meeting with Raffi Balian, Chairman of the ADL Western District Committee, and other committee members, a wide range of topics related to Armenia-Diaspora cooperation was addressed. Highlighting the importance of fostering state-centered thinking within the Diaspora, Zareh Sinanyan outlined the initiatives undertaken by the Office to promote purposeful dialogue with Armenian communities worldwide.

The High Commissioner also met with California State Senator Anthony Portantino, expressing gratitude for his participation in the 2nd Global Armenian Summit held in Yerevan this September. They discussed several issues of mutual interest during their meeting.

In Pasadena, Zareh Sinanyan engaged with members of the Pan-Armenian Council of the Western United States of America, holding a comprehensive discussion on key issues in Armenia-Diaspora relations.

As part of his visit to the United States, the High Commissioner will meet with representatives of Armenian communities in Nevada, Utah, New York, and New Jersey.
