Zareh Sinanyan Speaks at the French-Armenian Forum in Paris

As part of his working visit to France, RA High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Zareh Sinanyan, participated in the French-Armenian Forum held in Paris.

The forum was initiated by several community organizations in close collaboration with the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs.

Zareh Sinanyan served as the keynote speaker in the session on multi-sectoral cooperation between the French-Armenian community and Armenia. Other notable speakers included Alain Navarra-Navassartian, Professor of Art History and Sociology and President of the “HYESTART” Foundation, and Tigran Yeghiazaryan, Head of the “Patrimonyа” company, among others. The session was moderated by Levon Sakounts, Deputy Mayor of the French city of Vienne.

Key topics of the forum included the evaluation of the outcomes of the second Global Armenian Summit held in September 2024, enhancing collaboration between the Office and the French-Armenian community, appointing Commissioners for Diaspora Affairs in foreign countries, and the possibility of organizing Armenian-focused conferences in France in 2025.

The forum brought together representatives from about ten cities across France, including heads and members of community organizations and other active members of the community.

The event concluded with remarks by Daniel Kurkdjian, President of the French-Armenian Council and the main organizer of the forum.
