As part of his working visit to Belgium, RA High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan held meetings on February 15 with the leadership of the Boghossian and Arslanian Foundations, as well as with representatives of the “Narek” Educational and Cultural Center and Armenian youth from the local community.

At the Boghossian Foundation in Brussels, the High Commissioner met with General Manager Louma Salamé, toured the foundation’s exhibition hall, and learned about its ongoing activities.

Later that day, in Antwerp, he met with Anelga Arslanian, founder of the Arslanian Foundation, to discuss the foundation’s long-standing charitable initiatives and opportunities for future cooperation.

In the evening, the High Commissioner visited the Antwerp branch of the Narek Educational and Cultural Center, where he met with the center’s leadership, represented by Artak Zhamharyan, as well as young members of the Armenian community. During the meeting, he presented all the programs implemented by the Office of the High Commissioner and engaged in a discussion with attendees.

Throughout the meetings, High Commissioner Sinanyan emphasized the importance of strengthening Armenia-Diaspora ties, fostering deeper collaboration with Armenian community organizations and foundations, and advancing joint initiatives. The parties exchanged insights on their ongoing programs and explored new opportunities for partnership.

The High Commissioner also invited Armenian youth in Belgium to participate in the 2025 Armenian Youth Forum, which will be held in August and organized for the second time by the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
