RA High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan met with Garabed Hakobyan, Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia in Sweden.

During the meeting, Commissioner Hakobyan provided an update on the progress of initiatives within the Armenian community in Sweden, outlining key challenges and ongoing tasks.

Discussions also focused on organizing bilateral visits between Armenia and Sweden this year.

High Commissioner Sinanyan underscored the importance of strengthening engagement with the Armenian community through the Institute of Diaspora Commissioners.

Particular attention was paid to the participation of young representatives from the Armenian community of Sweden in the Second National Armenian Youth Forum, which the Office of the High Commissioner will host this August in Yerevan, Armenia.
