The High Commissioner met with students from the University of Pennsylvania and David Kazanjian

The High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Zareh Sinanyan, met with graduate students from the University of Pennsylvania, led by David Kazanjian—a Wharton School and Lauder Institute PhD graduate, professor of English, and Graduate Chair and Coordinator of the Department of Comparative Literature and Literary Theory.
As part of their studies at the Lauder Institute, in collaboration with Wharton’s MBA program, students pursue a Master’s in International Studies. Their visit to Armenia was organized under the Lauder Intercultural Program, aimed at deepening their understanding of the history of the Armenian diaspora.
Welcoming the students, Zareh Sinanyan shared his personal experience of repatriation, reflecting on both the challenges and opportunities involved. He also provided an overview of the key initiatives of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, highlighting its programs and efforts.
The meeting was attended by Sevan Kabakian, Director of Birthright Armenia.
The High Commissioner engaged in a Q&A session, addressing students’ questions and discussing topics of interest.
