On March 18, the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zareh Sinanyan, attended the closing ceremony of "Manouchian Week." The High Commissioner delivered an official speech, emphasizing the heroic figure of Missak Manouchian and the significance of his legacy for both the Armenian people and the international community.

In his speech, Zareh Sinanyan stated:

"I am proud that Missak Manouchian is my compatriot, a man who, in the most difficult of times, chose to fight, dedicating his life to the cause of freedom and justice. Today, more than ever, his character serves as an example for our society, especially for the youth. I am confident that his memory will always remain vivid and stand as a symbol of courage, resistance, and eternal values. On behalf of the distinguished guests present, I extend my gratitude to President Macron, the French government, and all those who have contributed to the perpetuation of Missak Manouchian’s memory."

"Manouchian Week," which began on March 14, aimed to recontextualize Missak Manouchian’s legacy, highlight his role in the global resistance movement, and promote Franco-Armenian historical and cultural dialogue. As part of the program, theatrical performances, conferences, exhibitions, documentary screenings, and discussions were organized in Yerevan and Artashat.

The project was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia, Yerevan Municipality, the European Union Delegation to Armenia, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region of France, and the Lyon Municipality, in collaboration with the "SATÉ-ATGH" Theater Association and "ART-IMAGE" Cultural Organization.

The event was also made possible through the contributions of the Embassy of France in Armenia, the French Institute, and several other international and local partners.

During the closing ceremony, other officials also delivered speeches, once again emphasizing the global significance of Manouchian’s legacy.

The end of "Manouchian Week" was marked by the event's closing, highlighting the lasting impact of Missak Manouchian’s ideals and the relevance of his heroic journey in today’s world.
