On April 11, the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zareh Sinanyan, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Armenia, Bolat Imanbayev.

The meeting focused on prospects for further strengthening Armenia–Kazakhstan relations.

High Commissioner Sinanyan emphasized the significant role of the Armenian community in Kazakhstan—one of the largest in the post-Soviet space—in fostering friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

The sides explored opportunities to expand bilateral collaboration in various areas, including humanitarian affairs, culture, education, and youth engagement. Particular attention was given to the involvement of the Armenian community in Kazakhstan and broader efforts to preserve Armenian identity within the Diaspora.

Both parties underlined the importance of mutual visits, educational exchange programs, cultural initiatives, and joint efforts involving diaspora organizations.

Ambassador Imanbayev expressed his appreciation for the Armenian community’s active and constructive role in Kazakhstan’s public life and reaffirmed his readiness to support initiatives aimed at deepening cultural ties and advancing bilateral cooperation.
