Zareh Sinanyan met with representatives of various organizations actively involved in the Armenian community of Plovdiv

As part of his working visit to Bulgaria, High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan met with representatives of various organizations actively involved in the Armenian community of Plovdiv.
The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Bulgaria, H.E. Tsovinar Hambardzumyan, and Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs and President of the Union of Armenians of Europe, Artur Hovhannisyan.
During the visit, the High Commissioner toured the Saint Gevorg Armenian Apostolic Church and the Victoria and Grigor Tutunjian School, where he became acquainted with the community’s ongoing programs and initiatives.
Discussions focused on several issues of importance to the Armenian community in Plovdiv, including strengthening connections between Armenian youth and the homeland, and enhancing cooperation between local community structures and the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs.
Mr. Sinanyan presented a detailed overview of the Office’s current programs and responded to questions raised by community members.
He commended the Plovdiv Armenian community for its sustained efforts to preserve Armenian identity and deepen Armenia-Diaspora relations. The High Commissioner also reaffirmed the commitment of the Office and the Government of the Republic of Armenia to continuously support such initiatives to the fullest extent possible.
