High Commissioner met with co-founders of the Armenian Institute of Sensory Integration NGO

Zareh Sinanyan, High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, met with Dmitry Zavrazhnov and Natalia Bogdanova, co-founders of the Armenian Institute of Sensory Integration NGO.
During the meeting, the institute's representatives presented the organization’s mission and activities. Founded in 2023, the institute aims to support children with special needs and advance the development of inclusive education in Armenia. It implements therapy based on the ASI (Ayres Sensory Integration) method, provides professional training for specialists, and partners with several higher education institutions across the country.
The institute is currently collaborating with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia and the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center.
High Commissioner Sinanyan emphasized the significance of such initiatives, highlighting the value of international knowledge exchange and the need to establish sustainable and effective systems in Armenia. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting programs that bridge innovation and education.
Both parties also stressed the importance of engaging diaspora professionals to deepen inclusive practices and foster a high-quality educational environment.
