High commissioner's working visit to France

High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan is on a working visit to France.

On July 5, in Paris, High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan and Head of the Diaspora Youth Ambassador program Lilit Khachatryan participated in the European Armenian Youth Forum.

The Forum was organized at the initiative of Diaspora Youth Ambassador program participants Bedros Astourian and Silva Sahakyan, in cooperation with the France-based organization G2iA.

In his opening remarks, Zareh Sinanyan emphasized the vital importance of Armenia–Diaspora dialogue, stating that the development of our nation depends on the effectiveness and continuity of this engagement.

He underlined the need not only for ideological, but also practical dialogue — one rooted in concrete initiatives and programs aimed at addressing current challenges and creating new opportunities.

Mr. Sinanyan expressed confidence that joint efforts will contribute to strengthening national unity and preserving identity in the face of emerging global challenges.

During the conference, Lilit Khachatryan presented the key programs implemented by the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, specifically highlighting the Diaspora Youth Ambassador, iGorts, and DiasPro initiatives.

The event featured a number of thematic panel discussions.

– Francis Szpiner, Senator and Chair of the “Paris of Tomorrow” group in the Paris City Council
