The Second Armenian National Youth Forum officially kicked off today, August 5, near the Matenadaran with a charity run under the theme “Run Together: Armenia x Diaspora.”
Along with the youth, the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zareh Sinanyan, also joined the run with his family.
The run was organized in partnership with the charitable platforms IMAST and reArmenia.
During the opening ceremony, David Mikaelyan, Head of Marketing at IMAST, and Mariam Vardanyan, COO of reArmenia, welcomed participants and introduced their platforms’ philanthropic initiatives, speaking about the meaningful purpose behind the charity run.
Covering a nearly 3-kilometer route from the Matenadaran to Stepan Shahumyan Square, the run highlighted the importance of Armenia-Diaspora unity, healthy living, and raising public awareness about charitable causes.
Reminder: In just a few hours, the first-day sessions of the Second Armenian National Youth Forum will begin at the G. Sundukyan National Academic Theatre and the nearby English Park, featuring a variety of parallel-format discussions.
