Armenian National Youth Forum 2025 - Opportunities for Professional Engagement in Armenia

On August 6, as part of the second day of the Armenian National Youth Forum with the theme “Meaningful and Sustainable Engagement,” a keynote address and roundtable discussion were held on the topic “Opportunities for Professional Engagement in Armenia.” The event brought together the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Zareh Sinanyan, representatives from partner organizations, and youth participants.

The High Commissioner outlined the programs implemented by the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs and the pathways available for diaspora youth to pursue professional involvement in Armenia. He highlighted the Office’s ongoing initiatives and shared insights into the experiences of repatriates working across Armenia’s public and private sectors, followed by a Q&A session with attendees.

Following the keynote, participants engaged in roundtable discussions alongside partner organizations, Zareh Sinanyan, and representatives of the Office to explore existing challenges, potential solutions, and ways to enhance diaspora youth participation in Armenia’s professional landscape.

Round-table participating organizations included: the Repatriation and Integration Center of the Office of the High Commissioner, the Hovnanian Family Foundation, My Step Foundation, IMAST, reArmenia, Viva Foundation, Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU), Teach for Armenia, Keron Foundation, Armenian Missionary Association of America (AMAA), Maison Marom, IT Association of Armenia, Children of the Regions (MEM), Russian-Armenian University, American University of Armenia, AYO! charity platform, and Fast Bank.

Tennis player Elina Avanesyan also delivered a special video greeting to the participants.
