Zareh Sinanyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cyprus to Armenia Michael Mavros

On September 29, High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zareh Sinanyan, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cyprus to Armenia, Michael Mavros.

Welcoming the Ambassador, Mr. Sinanyan emphasized the importance of further developing the friendship-based relations between Armenia and Cyprus, noting the presence of embassies in both countries as a significant achievement. The discussions focused on the implementation of the Trilateral Memorandum of Cooperation on Diaspora Affairs between Armenia, Greece, and Cyprus, as well as the prospects for expanding trilateral cooperation.

Both parties highlighted the importance of reciprocal visits and the need to strengthen joint, multi-sector collaboration.

Special attention was also given to the “Trump’s Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP) communication program, with both sides stressing the significance of the agreements reached and documents signed in Washington on August 8.
