On September 1, the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs officially launched the 2025–2026 cohort of the iGorts program. This year, 44 Diaspora Armenian professionals from 15 countries have arrived in Armenia to begin their service within the country’s public administration system.
In parallel with their professional engagement, the participants, accompanied by the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Zareh Sinanyan, visited Armenia’s cultural capital, Gyumri.
During their visit to the Museum of National Architecture and Urban Life of Gyumri, the participants were introduced to the city’s rich historical heritage, traditional crafts, and distinctive social and cultural life. They also visited the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies, where they learned about the center’s mission, activities, and educational programs.
The visit concluded with a guided tour of Gyumri’s historic quarters, offering participants a deeper appreciation of the city’s cultural and architectural legacy.
